"The coast and skies of West Cornwall, together with the rural flatlands of East Kent are my principal areas of study.Cornwall continues to inspire the exploration of the moods and rhythms that become all the more evocative due to its peculiar mystique and fascinating light.
The outlying Canterbury countryside encourages me to develop my landscape painting through both
observed and emotional response. In order to
meet the challenge of depicting light, space and
sense of place, there is always a new way of seeing."
