To look at a picture is to add one's vision and one's personal feeling, to share in the creativity of the artist; For Marie-Céline, each canvas is perceived as a visual adventure, a real or imaginary place where materials and colours meet and combine. For her, there is the simple pleasure of the gesture, of a controlled movement. There is no limit to the subjects she approaches, no more than there are limits to the imagination, to the composition and to dreams. Water, stone, disfigurement of our cities, are amongst her themes.

Born in Brussels, Marie-Céline and her husband lived first in Paris and then in London until they settled in Belgium in 1992. Whilst in London she studied painting - starting with watercolour and moving on to oil and mixed media; she also showed some of her work. In Belgium she enrolled at the newly established Ecole des Beaux Arts de Wavre. There she was able to continue to experiment with new techniques, under the tutelage of Dominique Fournal.  She has had numerous group shows in Belgium, France and the UK; also several one-person shows in Belgium and London and  during the last few years on Art Fairs - such as LINEART, LIBR'ART and Art-Event. Marie-Céline has won several prizes such as the Prix des Arts du Brabant Wallon.

We are delighted to host her fourth exhibition in London.  Many of her London supporters have been patiently waiting for her return.
