Hilary HANLEY

Hilary Hanley first studied etching at the Hampstead Arts Centre in the 1970's, but her drawing and printmaking activities were interrupted when she took a job in publishing.
Since returning to etching she has worked in a studio under the guidance of Peter Freeth RA RE as well as in her studio at home as a full-time printmaker.
Married to the painter Liam Hanley, she has exhibited in the annual Open Print Exhibitions of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers at The Bankside Gallery and The Mall Galleries; she also exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions in 2000 and 2001.
She is a member of the Camden Printmakers and has shown with them as well as in several other mixed shows in England and the USA.
