Frances BECK

Frances Beck attended Glasgow School of Art.
After gaining a Diploma of Art she was granted a year of post-diploma, followed by a travelling scholarship which she spent mainly in Italy.

In the sixties she moved to London where she worked as a jewellery designer, setting up a partnership with Ernest Blyth, jointly winning many awards.
Blyth and Beck Jewellery is in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Goldsmiths' Company.
Following the death of Ernest Blyth in 1995, she returned to her first love - painting, upon which she now concentrates.
